I agree with the many e-mails you have received relative to the sound
and quality of new piano rolls verses old ones.  I have a player piano
and collect and play piano rolls often, no matter how old or valuable
one might be.  My favorites are the older ones -- the quality of sound
and experiencing the feel and reading the words on the rolls of what
our forefathers endured and were thinking is awesome.

I have many, many war songs and patriotic songs -- Star Spangled
Banner, Dixie, Bugle Calls, K-K-K-Katy, Bring the Boys Home, etc.
-- that I am playing during this time of war.   Other songs that came
about during wars previous would definitely give all who listen to
them the feel of being there and understanding why people played and
listened to such songs.
