Wurlitzer Electric Push-Button Switch
By Richard Schrader

I have a round plated heavy pot metal push button-type switch with
incised letters "Wurlitzer" around the edge of the base. It is mounted
on a piece of Bakelite about 2" by 1-1/2" and about 1/2" thick, and
held to the Bakelite by three small screws. There are two poles for an
electrical connection on the back of the Bakelite. It is similar in
construction and operation to a doorbell switch, but much heavier.

Anyone have any idea what it is for?
