Nickelodeon Piano Rolls
By Don Teach

I am currently in the middle of two projects cutting rolls for
Wurlitzer Nickelodeons. The first project is going well with
100 different five tune Wurlitzer Nickelodeon rolls being recut.

The second project is going well also. I am searching for rolls to
recut. I need ten tune Wurlitzer APP rolls for the second project.
It looks like this project is going to be just as nice as the first
project. I am thinking about a third project. Currently there are
no A rolls or G rolls recut by the Play-rite company and they sold
their masters. I am thinking of doing composite rolls of tunes that
I recognize. I am no music expert but would like to know the songs
that the piano is playing. Would anyone be interested in rolls that
are composite rolls? I have also thought about using the pianist in
my area to make some new rolls. What music would someone want to
have if it were new? Would anyone be interested in buying new songs?

Would anyone want their favorite 88 note roll converted to an A roll?
There are a ton of questions in my mind on this third project and I
feel the market for A rolls should exist. If you are interested then
please let me know what you would like to see available in the way
of A or G rolls.

Thanks
Don Teach
