Wurlitzer Roll Recutting Project
By Don Teach

Well finally the first group of Wurlitzer five tune Automatic Player
Piano rolls is shipping. This first group is comprised of 25 rolls.
Several blues rolls and the rest are late style rolls.
These are by far the best rolls I have ever seen Play-Rite cut. Nice
boxes with wooden inserts, cloth leaders with wire, tune cards, and play
great. As usual with any project you should expect the unexpected. I
need tune listings for roll number 0113 and roll number 1820 if anyone
cares to help.

The original number of rolls that was going to be recut has grown so
that I now have some spare sets to sell. These are sets of 100 rolls.
95 of the rolls are recut original rolls and five of the rolls are the
work of Art Reblitz and the Wurlitzer PianoOrchestra roll arranging
department. I believe this will be the last time that a project of this
magnitude will ever be done. Now would be your only time to contact
dteach@nwla.com for these rolls. Do it today. You'll be glad you did.
