"God Bless America" in 1942 US Army & Navy Hymnal
By Richard Stibbons

How many hundred replies did you receive to the request for "God Bless
America" ?

In the 'fifties, when the Army Surplus shops here in the UK were full
of genuine Army Surplus, thousands of brand new copies of the 1942 US
Army & Navy Hymnal came onto the market. I only bought one, for six
old pence, which I still use a lot -- I wish I'd bought a dozen copies.

As well as all the standard hymns it has many other useful pieces
including this. I'll be pleased to mail it if you still need it.

Incidentally, somewhat belatedly, we wholeheartedly echo the sentiment.

Richard Stibbons
Cromer, England.
