I am occasionally able to connect with Rich Groman at Keystone.
I had heard rumors that he was going out of business. He assured
me that just the opposite is true.
Since he opened his web site http://www.keystonemusicroll.com/
his business has grown far beyond what he was capable of handling.
To help to accommodate customers and to expand his inventory he moved
his facilities to a new and much larger location, 2512 Center St.,
Bethlehem, PA. My wife and I were supposed to stop by last Thursday,
but she wouldn't let me drive over there because she said I would spend
money. She promised that we could go next month, since every time she
wanted to buy something, I said, "Go ahead, you just have to let me
buy piano rolls."
Due to the move he was quite busy setting everything up again.
I received a catalog about six weeks to nine weeks ago. He was working
on a new catalog at the time that I spoke to him which, would be out
sometime in the fall.
I just called his home and left a message on his answering machine. He
rarely answers the phone. My battery ran out before I could call the
store, but as soon as it is charged up (in a couple hours) I'll call
and leave a message there as well.
Unfortunately, he isn't, nor has he ever been, good at returning phone
calls. I think he could use a good secretary. Most of the time he
keeps this as a one-man operation. Occasionally he will have a friend
help with labels, boxing, etc. I'll try to keep on top of this.
