Dear Mr. Kravitz,  I am sorry it has taken so long, but here is some
information to share with MMD readers, if you would be so kind.

We are delighted to report that "The Fairground Organ -- Its Music,
Mechanism and History", by Eric V. Cockayne (revised edition), is being
printed this week, with an expected publication date in late August.

Since announcing the new edition of this book, the enforced delay in
bringing it to reality was caused by the loss of one batch of artwork.
Unfortunately the truck carrying this was hijacked by villains, who
then realised they had got the wrong truck so they set fire to it!

You can probably imagine how we felt.  The problems thrown up by this
seemed enough to stop the project entirely.  However, we have persevered
and managed to make good the shortages, so anyone may now order this
book with confidence.

May I extend my personal thanks to all of you who have paid in
advance and also offered much verbal encouragement to this project;
your patience will soon be rewarded.  To others who have been waiting,
please help us now and order your copy right away.

In England, the price is 19.95 GBP per copy; overseas the price is
