Ray Turner - The Hollywood Pianist
By Jim Phillips

I had read only a few lines of Mark Forer's inquiry when the name
"Ray Turner" came to mind and was pleased to see on further reading
that Robbie had come to the same possibility ["Piano Music in the
Old West Saloons", 010726 MMDigest].

It may surprise some to learn that Ray recorded a beautiful Chopin
album for Capitol Records in the early 1950's. I have it in the
45 rpm version. Haven't listened to it in maybe 20 years, but will
dig it out. Best regards.

Jim Phillips
