Building John Smith Busker Organ Pipes
By Bob Meyer

Hi folks, I'm building a John Smith Busker organ and I have a question
about the larger pipes. The "plans" give a dimension of 7/8" for the
location of the languid. This seems to work okay for the smaller pipes,
but seems out of proportion for the larger ones.

Also, the directions suggest cutting the pieces for the pipe bottom and
languid from the longer piece that becomes the front of the pipe. This
also seems okay for the smaller pipes but leaves quite a large opening
on the larger pipes.

Any other John Smith organ builders that can help me out?

Thanks,

Bob Meyer
