Water Trap for Vacuum Gage
By Rob Buckingham

Hi All, Does anyone have a conversion factor for inches mercury
column to inches water column?

Also, I have been unable to pull up the archival info. for Craig
Brougher's water gauge with trap (i.e., I can't find it in the
MMD Archives). I would appreciate any info in the subject.

Many thanks,
Rob Buckingham

[ The conversion factor is 13.55, being the ratio of specific
[ gravity of mercury to water. In MMD 971230 I commented that
[ Craig Brougher and Phil Dayson both wrote about set-ups for
[ calibrating vacuum gages and incorporating a water trap for
[ safety, but I sure can't locate the articles. Can anyone help?
