While I am not into reproducing piano rolls, I certainly am deeply
involved with saving the reproducing pipe organ rolls.

Since no one else is apparently giving any attention to organ rolls
except for one firm, we are in the process of developing our own
optical scanned universal roll reader that will take any of the
original format rolls and put them into MIDI format and record them.

I can certainly speak to the excellence of the 176-note Aeolian
Pipe Organ Duo-Art Music rolls produced by the Kegg Pipe Organ Co.,
http://www.keggorgan.com/  They are first class and deadly accurate
and more than well worth the price.  The punching is perfect, high
quality paper and the music selections are of the best quality,
none of the common droning stuff.

Chuck Kegg should be congratulated for his efforts and I for one
certainly hope he continues to release new rolls for decades to come.
