Monkey Training for Organ Grinders
By Brian Flora

With all of the apparent interest in monkeys and organ grinders
recently, we have put an article on the subject from an 1889 newspaper
up on our site.

The article chronicles the purchase and training of a ring-tailed
monkey by an Italian immigrant grinder, complete with horrible dialect
and archaic expressions.

As with the other historic articles from our collection which we have
made available, you will find the link in the middle of our organ
history page, which you can reach by following the link at the bottom
of our home page, http://www.floraco.com/organs/ .
