Tempo of Scott Joplin Rags
By Ingmar Krause

Hello Mechanical Music -- I already had some emails about this back
and forth with Robbie (I hope you don't mind me telling about this,
Robbie) and he changed a MIDI file of a Scott Joplin Rag into much
faster tempo, with the explanation that this was supposed to be a dance
music.

Personally I would agree, as you heard, to play them slowly, which
gives them more "charm", instead of rushing them.

greetings by(e) InK - Ingmar Krause
