Ragtime Festival in Columbia MO 9-10 June 2001

After reading the Max Morath story about Scott Joplin sheet music, it
occurred to me that his appearance at the upcoming Blind Boone festival
might be of interest to ragtimers on MMD.

The festival is June 9 and 10 in Columbia, MO. The main events are two
evening concerts.  Sunday features Morten Gunnar Larsen, the Ophelia
Ragtime Orchestra, Scott Kirby, Bob Milne, and Reginald Robinson.

Monday, the features are  Max Morath, Butch Thompson, and Charlie
Devore.  A group from  Chicago AMICA will attend these events and
others.

Anyone wishing more information should contact me privately.
