Clicking Regina Disc Music Box
By Dex Thibodeaux

I have a model 50 (double comb) Regina 15-1/2" disc music box with a
clicking problem. A clicking sound is heard from about 5 notes in the
tenor range (in the area located between the second and third pressure
wheel from the center).

It is very annoying when a tune disc plays only in this range and
I would like to know if there is a simple solution to this problem.
If I remove one comb (either top or bottom) the clicking stops. At
first I thought it was the dampers that caused the clicking, but they
are all in order and the teeth look fine, with no grooves at the tips.
I would appreciate any advice for a quick solution.

Thanks, Dexter Thibodeaux
