For Sale to best offer:
1. upright 5'-0", dark wood, The Aeolian Co. style 600 P, Duo-Art
Pianola, #81938
2. upright, 5'-0", dark wood, Beckwith Chicago, 88-note, #80091
3. grand, 5'-6", dark wood, The Cable Company Chicago, 'Reproducing
Inner Player', #274403
4. grand, 5'-6", dark wood, Knabe, Ampico reproducing "A", #95125
5. upright, 5'-0", pretty medium dark wood, Stroud, The Aeolian Co.
New York, style 593, Duo-Art Pianola, #86738
None of these pianos works at the moment. The Stroud does to a degree,
but all will need a good deal of work. There is much potential!
I have maybe 300 to 400 rolls, possibly more; some 88-note. Mostly
single song and long-play Ampico rolls many original but many new from
Keystone. It would be nice that when the pianos go so do the rolls.
There are also two Knabe Concert grands: 1909 #10060 and 1919 #10536.
Both are not players.
I do not know what the pianos are worth. I know what I paid for them.
Everything as far as I can tell is still on each piano. The Knabe is
the best, I know, with the Beckwith least, maybe. What would be a good
way to set a value on the pianos? It would be wonderful if someone
would arrive in a covered truck and take ALL.
All five player pianos are in my work shop in Pawling, New York. My
phone number is 845-855-3627. I wish to see the pianos out of my shop
as quickly as possible.
