Seek Perforator Maintainer at QRS Music Rolls
By Bob Berkman, QRS

* Unique Opportunity Coming At QRS Buffalo *

Would you like to be the person responsible for maintaining and running
the QRS perforators and related machines?

Felix Klempka is presently our wonderfully versatile factory supervisor.
He joined us in 1972 and trained under the late Walter Gibbs, who had
been hired by Max Kortlander in 1956 at the suggestion of J. Lawrence
Cook.

One of these years, Felix will enter his well-deserved retirement.
Who will take his place?

We would like to begin training his successor this fall. Applicants
must have strong mechanical/electrical abilities and computer literacy.

Responsibilities include maintenance and preventive maintenance of
all production machinery (perforators and related computers; lyric
stencillers; box and label machines; injection molders; compressors,
etc.) as well as office machines (photocopiers, printers, etc.) and
the physical plant (furnaces, plumbing, electrical, etc.). No musical
ability is required.

Salary and relocation costs are negotiable. If you are capable,
responsible, and want to play an important part in our second hundred
years, please send resume via mail to:
