Press Release: International Soapbox Festival
Today's Date: Saturday, April 7th, 2001

DiMBy Co., Inc., an independent company, is pleased to announce the
International Soapbox Festival, as part of DiMBy's continuing
commitment to excellence in artistic expression and performance poetry.

The festival will bring its celebration of "diversity in differences"
to St. Louis, April 27-28, 2001. Members of the International Soapbox
Society will occupy their "boxes", small one-person stages, throughout
the Soulard district, each taking part in the tradition of solo
performance.

Participants will include: poets, musicians, evangelists of various
faiths, mimes, comedians, storytellers, carnival barkers, jugglers,
peddlers, activists, political orators, and other Society members.

Festival attendance will be free and open to the public. Participation
will include visitors and members. Those interested in joining the
society may consult www.dimbyville.com for information and annual
rates. [snip]
