Autopiano Tracker Mechanism
By Pete Knobloch

On Feb 26, Lou Kretchek indicated that the Autopiano tracker mechanism
he has is shot. He is looking for another one.

Lou didn't specify exactly what is wrong with his pneumatic tracker
mechanism but it probably could be rebuilt by a competent player piano
rebuilder. The original tracker mechanism would have to be in very bad
shape to not be rebuildable. New cloth, leather and felt and a some
time can make the unit work like new.
