Contributing to MMD
By John Farrell

Peter Leutwiler said: "Take $30 in paper dollars, put it in an
envelope and just send it to Jody. ... no banker will pick a fee
from your money ..."

Perhaps these things work differently in Switzerland. Here in England,
if I walk into a bank and say, "I would like to buy $30 in American
bills, please," the clerk would say to me, "That will cost you the
equivalent of $40." ($40 is just a guess, it is probably more than
that).

I would be interested to hear how Peter persuades his bank to hand over
US dollars without charging him a fee.
