Perhaps these things work differently in Switzerland. Here in England,
if I walk into a bank and say, "I would like to buy $30 in American
bills, please," the clerk would say to me, "That will cost you the
equivalent of $40." ($40 is just a guess, it is probably more than
that).
I would be interested to hear how Peter persuades his bank to hand over
US dollars without charging him a fee.
