Instruments Formerly at Disneyland and Knott's
By Don Teach

I have two of the Disneyland machines in my collection. Many other
Disney machines reside in other collections. I believe the Wurlitzer
157 is being restored by a collector for himself. So at least the
machines did not go to the dump. The PianOrchestra from Knott's Berry
Farm resides with four others in a collection.

My Seeburg KT Special was Imagine-Engineered or whatever the term from
Disney. I have not restored it but have located all the original parts
except a motor. [ The Disney engineering department is named
"Imagineering". -- Robbie ]

One other interesting note is that the only original Banjo Orchestra
known to major collectors was located at Knott's. This machine was
missing many parts including the banjo. It is now in a private
collection in Michigan restored as a Banjo Orchestra.
