Excuse for being so curious: I'm an Italian pianist. In searching
for Scriabin's own recordings, I found a MMD article with the string
"Scriabin performs his own compositions in 1905" and, if I don't
understand incorrectly, these old recordings have been issued on LP
(and I think, furthermore, that some very rare rolls such as Sonatas
#2 and #3 could be found there).
Please, could I know anything more about this? Is there some hope
I could purchase it.
Best Thanks.

[ Francesco is researching the piano rolls played by composer
[ Alexander Scriabin; in MMD 000628 he inquired about Scriabin
[ performances on Triphonola piano rolls.
[
[ The LP series named "Welte Legacy of Piano Treasures" is very rare,
[ evidently. In MMD 001013 Richard Simonton noted the LP at eBay
[ auction; the auction description said:
[
[ "Welte Legacy of Piano Treasures -- Scriabin performs his
[ own compositions in 1905, Poushnoff performs circa 1920.

[
[ In MMD 950515 Janos Macsai mentions "Welte Legacy of Piano Treasures
[ - Album No.676 c.1964"
[
[ The music library at University of Pennsylvania lists (in the
[ section of Audio Recordings):
[
[ "Compositions of Franz Liszt as performed by the legendary masters
[ of the piano [sound recording]. Welte Legacy : Recorded Treasures,
[ p1986. The Welte legacy of piano treasures. LCC 5860 Welte Legacy

[
[ Could someone please tell us the story of the "Welte Legacy" LP
[ records, and of any audio recordings of rolls played by Scriabin?
[ What collector provided the piano rolls for the recordings? What
[ company published the LPs? How many LPs were published?
