Roll Player for Pipe Organ
By Robert Pelletier

Greetings all, I am interested in finding out if any mechanical music
fiends out there have successfully converted an 88-note player piano
mechanism to operate a pipe organ.

The instrument in question is a Wicks direct electric 2MP. I'd
probably have this contraption as a stand-alone unit instead if trying
to stuff it into the console. It would be nice to dispense with all the
leaky pneumatics and find some kind of air-actuated microswitch for
each note...

Would I just be wasting my time (champagne tastes, but bottled water
budget!). Many thanks in advance.
