Player Piano Horror Story
By Bruce Clark

I once visited a piano shop where a very enthusiastic technician showed
me his latest player restoration. In his haste, he somehow missed one
note in his connections to the tracker bar. All the bass notes were
playing a half tone flat!

The player work was very good, but something sounded terrible. Then
I looked at the keys and saw the reason.

I tried to tactfully tell him that there was an error, but he insisted
that the piano sounded just wonderful!
