Hi all. This is a handy little program that you can input any MIDI
message into, and output any MIDI signal you would like. And best of
all it's freeware. This should work with any scale, piano or organ.
It works by saving text files you type in, using as many definitions
as you like. It is very user friendly, and it displays the MIDI code
sent to it.
My step piano would not work without this. I take the sustain MIDI
signal, and translate it into a clock pulse to send to cakewalk.
I also use it for octave coupling in arrangements!
This must be configured to connect between the MIDI input and MIDI
output, so you must also install a loop-back software that gives
you more MIDI outputs, such as Hubley's loopback device.
You may download Bome's Midi Translator at

Bome's Midi Translator V1.20 -- This utility is installed in-between
two MIDI programs or devices. It analyses incoming MIDI data (sysex
or normal short messages) and translates them using your definitions.
