To all: Just a brief note re John McClelland's e-mail regarding Ken
Caswell's work vis-a-vis the Welte catalog. (MMD 001030)
I spoke to Albany/Troy Distributors and principal Susan Bush this
morning and she advises that the Debussy and Granados, as well as the
proposed Bloomfield-Zeisler CDs, are actually issued on Pierian
Records, probably Ken Caswell's label. Albany is a distributor for
many different labels, other than it's own two, Albany and Troy. She
didn't indicate how much, but I assume the price to be $15.95 (the
standard price now).
E-mail inquiries to the firm go to Susan Bush <sbush7815@aol.com>.
I believe they will sell direct. Presumably the Debussy is Pierian #1,
and the Granados Pierian #2.
For those of you who might be interested in a critique, I have
requested promotional copies for the radio station (WCLV) for which
I am an announcer. If they materialize, I'll give my assessment, for
anyone who cares to have it.
