Pin-End Music Rolls

[Ref. 001026 MMDigest]  NO!  Pin end rolls were certainly in use by
Aeolian (Mechanical Orguinette Company actually) as early as 1889 on
their 46-note organs, 1891 on 58-note organs and from even earlier on
some types of table top organettes -- so 65-note rolls were not the
first pin-end rolls by a long shot.
