Deagan Tube Chimes
By khargrove@uproperties.com

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

I am trying to gain more information about a set of chimes I inherited
from my father. He always called them "Notre Dame Cathedral Chimes".
According to the information I have, they are the only set of this type
in existence. Some of the chimes are stamped with:

  J.C. Deagan
Pat May 21, 1901 Canada Pat May 21, 1901 English Pat September 1899
  Chicago

Any suggestions about where I can gain more information and history on
these chimes? I don't even know what type of metal alloy the chimes
are made of and there are several repairs that need to be made. Thank
you for any help given.
