Wilhelm Bruder Sohne Model 79 Fairground Organ

Having just acquired a rare Wilhelm Bruder Sohne model 79 48-keyless
fair organ in completely original condition, but needing total
restoration, I have found the serial no. 3651 stamped all over it and
the date 1926 pencilled inside the reservoir.
It came from a circus in East Germany and as far as I know it has been
there since it was built in Waldkirch. The instrument is totally
complete and has one hour of Wilhelm Bruder music with it. It appears
never to have been touched.
I intend to restore it very carefully and not do anything unnecessary.
The pipe work is of exceptional quality, with 178 pipes. The front is
most unusual and heavily carved .
Do any readers know anything about the serial numbers of these organs?

[ I sent this letter also to Wolfgang Brommer in Waldkirch; he is
[ awaiting photographs of the organ from Dr. Leach. -- Robbie
