My posting to the 000924 MMD misspelled Ervista Bona's name as
"Ervista Borna." I tried to blame that error on the MMD editors,
but Robbie proved that the typo was in my original text.
I've sometimes wondered how the often-seen misspelling "Borna"
originated. The earliest occurrence I know of is in Q. David Bowers'
Encyclopedia. Now having made the same mistake myself, even though
I know better, I begin to suspect that it was a mere typo in the Bowers
text. (I don't know Dave well enough to call him just "Q," but I know
what the Q. stands for because Tim Trager told me.)
Robbie has assured me that my careless typo will be corrected in
the MMD Archives, so that it doesn't lend further support to the
misspelling "Borna."

[ The error is already corrected in MMD Archives. I suppose magazine
[ and book editors would be envious of this "feature" of MMD, which
[ results from after-the-fact feedback from the readers. :-)
