Toy Piano Plays 15-Note Continuous Belt
By Gary Heckman
I have acquired an antique toy baby grand player piano 15-note
continuous music roll. It came with 4 continuous music sheets which
measure 2-1/8" wide by 23" long. It is black with a decal "Auto Piano"
on the case. The music scale is "567123456712345" The Pat. No is
192942. 31,107.311:08:31109. I can not find any other markings.
It appears a 2" by 13" label was on the front of the case.
The piano measures 13" across by 14" long by 11" high. The music
is inserted in the back of the piano and plays continuously. I am
looking for information on the toy player piano as to the date and
maker. Also looking for the tune sheets. The tune sheets have 15
lines with the holes cut in for the music. Also the music scale
"567123456712345" is shown. Tune sheets are white with blue lines.
I would appreciate any information on this instrument.
