Value of Chein Piano Lodeon
By Mike Knudsen

Less than two years ago I bought a Chein Pianolodeon at an antique shop
in Hallowell, Maine for $180. It was in very fine shape visually,
played well, but had only two rolls. Since yours has 13 rolls, the
original box, and is in even better shape (but does it play well on all
notes?), it should be worth more than that, especially if it plays.
Some of us are looking for rolls!

Note that I've seen Pianolodeons in other shops for more, as much as
$300 or $350 back near Chicago. Also note that the tone quality and
intonation of the toy piano sound rods is rather poor compared to other
toy piano makes such as Jaymar. I'm considering doing a "transplant"
on mine.
