Cold Fish Glue
By Ralph Schultz

Hi MMD:

There has been much said about hot hide glue and all the other types of
glue's on the market today but yet there still is one other that I have
not seen or read about on MMD and I have used it with good results,
this glue has all the characteristic of hot hide glue but you don't
need to heat it because it's ready to go cold fish glue, has a
temperature range from -30 to + 500 degrees and is easily remove with
water, shear strength of 3200 psi, good heat and solvent resistance,
I have used this on smaller organs such as gem roller organs etc., now I
am planning to restore a player reed organ and we are looking at heavy
duty pumps, does anyone out there have any input good or bad? Frankly I
like it, it's renewable.

[ Fish Glue has been mentioned 8 times in the MMD. I've not reread
[ the articles to see if a consensus was arrived at, but the articles
 [ are available at: http://mmd.foxtail.com/Archives/KWIC/F/fish.html
