Hot Glue
By Nigel Perry

I think that we should put this hot glue business to bed, once and for
all!!

Anyone who has spent hours with wire wool, sandpaper, petrol, meths,
white spirit and many other solvents, trying to clean off the
disgusting mess that other types of glue leave, will know the answer
to this question.

Also, when clear plastic pipe starts to degrade it leaves a similarly
unshiftable treacly mess also.

Please, please keep to the tried and tested and spare a thought for the
restorer who comes after you.

Best wishes

Nigel Perry
