I would like to add my very positive comments about the custom
woodworking of Ricky Diggs.  I recently obtained an antique rotating
musical Christmas tree stand, containing a 7" Kalliope disc musical
box.  Both the case and the works needed some fixing up.

Ricky took on the task of repairing and refinishing the case.  There
were numerous problems that needed to be addressed with the case.  Some
veneer on the top was stained where someone had placed a glass which
left a nice deep ring in the veneer; in addition, there were several
warps in it.  The sides were split apart and the finish was uneven.

Ricky reveneered, reglued and totally refinished the box in a manner
that would make the original factory proud.  Dull gloss, new veneer on
the top, quartered and matched grain to the rest of the box, and
stained to match the original (the wood on the winding handle was left
as is and is an excellent match with the refinished box.

Ricky gets high praise from me.  If you have any custom woodworking,
