Newman Bros. Grand with Telelectric Player Action
By Dave Brown

I have a chance to pick up a Newman Bros. Co. Piano from Chicago,
Overstrung Grand. It is a very ornate upright piano, in excellent
condition. Could anyone help me date it? Its serial no. is 1548.
Does anyone have any input as to the quality of this brand of piano?

The piano has a Telelectric solenoid stack. As it doesn't have the
player mechanism, does anyone have an idea of the value of the stack?
Or a need for one?

We want this piano to use with our Pianocorder pushup unit. Any help
would be appreciated.
