John McClure asked if he could locate his organ blower for his
Reproduco organ 30 feet from his organ.
In the Orpheum Theatre, San Francisco there was a division of the
organ, the 'Echo' organ, in the ceiling above the projection booth at
the rear of the house. It was winded from the organ's main (and only)
blower which was located under the stage, close by the relay room,
percussion chamber, and 'Main' division. The 'Orchestral' division was
on the house left, the 'Solo' on the house right. From the blower room
to the 'main' was only about 30', but to the 'echo', it was almost
120'. The organ played perfectly.
