Thanks to Ingmar Krause for providing an Ariston scale (same as
Herophon).  A friend of mine has also provided me with a scale which
differs by only one note from the Treasures of Mechanical Music scale.
My friend says that note 11 should be G#, i.e. not G.  He also advises
me that this and other scale errors have been noted by the publishers
and will be corrected in the event of the republication of Treasures.

I have tabulated the three sets of scales side by side [below] from
which it can be seen that there are material differences in the scales
which cannot be accounted for by transposition.

Does anyone have any comments or further information on the scale in
question?
