Cyndy Hennig, editor of the National Carousel Association's quarterly,
"Merry-Go-Roundup", tells me that the memorial pieces for Harvey Roehl
are pouring in to her for the next issue and that after the
Independence Day holiday she is going to pull them together for
publication.
I particularly like the In Memoriam that Bill Black wrote, partly
because of the picture accompanying it showing Harvey at his Tangley
as he so often appeared at band organ rallies. It is on the web at
http://www.carousels.com/roehl.htm
I have printed out the web page and will keep it in my copy of Harvey's
Player Piano Treasury.
Oh, we will miss him at rallies and carousel conventions!
