I found two 65-note English-made Aeolian rolls in an antique shop
near Brunswick, Maine. They have metal pin ends, and the boxes, which
are in good shape, contain wooden end blocks to support the rolls.
The mfgr's label says "The Aeolian Orchestrelle Co.", but I _think_
these are just 65-note piano rolls. The rolls are not brittle and
are in like new condition, like so much classical music (alas :-).
They have the expression pumping guide line of dots, although in the
first three feet of roll I did not see any Themodist "snake bite"
holes. One is Chopin's Polonaise in A-flat, the other a movement from
a Schubert symphony, if I recall right. It is shorter than the Chopin.
Also its end label has been partly pasted over with a "Paris" sales
office sticker.
There was no price tag and the owners were busy so I didn't ask,
but if anyone's interested, email me privately and I can check for
you sometime.
