Seek Music Box Restorer
By Phil Brockington

-- forwarded message, please reply to sender and MMD --

We have just inherited a drum type music box. The drum is about
10 inches long by 2 inches in diameter. It contains six different
songs, but plays only one of them. It would appear that the drum
will not slide along the shaft, thus preventing the selection of
the other pieces.

I am reasonably mechanically inclined. Is there someone who could
advise me on its repair, or better, a recognized antique music box
restorer you or your members could recommend. We live in southern
New Jersey. Would appreciate any help which you might offer.

Sincerely

Phil Brockington
