Organizing & Cataloging Music Rolls
By Will Herzog

We have 900 or so rolls. They are in five cheap lightweight metal
racks. The rolls are boxed, and stacked 4 high, and across the shelf.
Titles show, or are penned on stickers if too worn or absent. (Some
are in aluminum foil or Saran wrap boxes). The shelves are classified as

  Those I like
  Those my wife likes
Those for sing along & party songs
  Hymns and Christmas songs
Those we might want to hear again, on the bottom shelves.

Also a shelf of repair tools, tapes, parts, and those needing repairs.
Upstairs is a rack of those we never want to hear again, and don't know
what to do with.

The downside is guests who can't be bothered putting them where they
found them, causing "losses".
