Seek Electric Pump for M. Schulz Player

A local restaurant has asked me to install an electric pump in their
M. Schulz (Waldorf upright) player.
I have some knowledge of players, but am weak in troubleshooting.
I was trained at Aeolian to service their players manufactured in the
early 80's. They were building the Standard player in "The Sting"
series of pianos.
The Schulz piano works but is very weak. The speed can be changed but
the power isn't there. Many notes play at random, like there is little
vacuum to make them work. I set the speed control to zero to see what
vacuum could be developed in the reservoir. It takes about 5 seconds
for it to completely empty.
The tracker seems to work: good alignment of tracker bar and roll,
but the expression buttons don't; all tubing is in place, but I do
question some of the tube routing/connections. They want it to work
so customers can enjoy it.
Besides the pump, it will require a rewind unit and shut off. I don't
think they have the budget to rebuild it and were hoping for some
results with just the pump, etc.
Your tech list has been recommended by a number of colleagues on the
piano tech list. Let me know if you need more information. I don't
want to make things worse and lead the owners into unnecessary expense.
Thanks for your comments.
