Use Hot Hide Glue to Make Life Easier
By Miguel de Mattos

One of the innumerable problems I have in rebuilding a player action
is in removing the small 88 or 65 bellows without damaging the bellows
board or the small bellows.

So, putting a thin leather gasket between the bellows board and the
small bellows, glued always with _hot animal glue_, makes life easier
to the next rebuilder, because with a little hot steam, what is going
to break is just this leather gasket instead of the bellows board or
the small bellows. It does not make an air leak when well-glued.

I saw this example in a 65-note Aeolian action that was quite easy
to rebuild.

Best wishes
Miguel de Mattos
