Wurlitzer 165 & Geb. Bruder Organ Similarities
By John Rutoskey

The Wurlitzer 165 Band Organ was the same as the Bruder Organ with
the exceptions of the roll mechanisms and the addition of a vacuum
system. There were some differences in the pipe scaling, ranks and
tuning methods of 165's over the years of production also.

Early Wurlitzer 165's were built by Bruder and sent over here to
Wurlitzer, who added their own roll mechanisms. The 165 in the
Sanfilippo collection is a Bruder-built organ.
