Wurlitzer Orgatron Reeds
By Berley Firmin

Hi all,

Wurlitzer Organ Reeds are not exactly like regular reed organ reeds, as
Mr. Gellerman correctly points out. However on the organ that I junked
and salvaged the reeds from, there was only one pickup per reed and some
of them had holes drilled through the block to let excess air escape.
After all the reed didn't need to sound, just vibrate. (Although you
could hear them playing softly when the amplifier wasn't on.)
