Hello MMD readers, Due to the number of people asking me to "let them
know" when this or that arrangement is ready, especially Ampico owners,
I signed up for a Microsoft list management option today, which sets up
a mailing list.
We expect to send out to those on the list a newsletter, approximately
once per month, announcing the new roll releases and also providing
news about the musical activities in the Artcraft studio. There will
probably be photographic pictures, linked to our own sever, for each
of these newsletters, especially handy when discussing some musical
point in player roll arranging.
There's no obligation to purchase anything from us, and you can
unsubscribe at any time. We also asked for no information beyond your
name and e-mail address. (Microsoft's software, by comparison, had all
sorts of 'optional' and 'required' demographic information in the setup,
but this has been deactivated for our purposes.) Music touches
everyone, since age, gender, income and other factors have no bearing
on one's interest in our virtuoso Player-Piano rolls. The address list
is not sold nor shared with anyone else, being controlled via software
from our location in Maine.
You can find the "Sign Up" box for Microsoft's "bCentral/ListBot"
(egad, what an ugly-sounding name!) at the bottom of the Artcraft
home page, http://www.wiscasset.net/artcraft/
There are banner ads at the top of the screen for banks, automobiles
and the usual fare, but if this newsletter "takes off" as we hope it
will I'll upgrade to Microsoft's Premium Service which will be totally
advertisement-free.
Check out this new feature, and if you want to be on our e-mail
newsletter list, we'll be happy to include you!
Regards,
