Hi All, I found it somewhat amusing that John Spradley wrote [in
MMD 000406]:
"I would like to see some kind of a rating system to go with any
source listing of rolls. Having been burned by some low quality
re-cuts I am overly cautious of roll suppliers. For awhile
I blamed it on my Weber Duo-Art Grand."
It's amusing because while John mentioned Meliora as a good source,
he didn't have the nerve to mention the 'brand-name' company. How in
the heck can you create a list when people are reluctant to mention
the name of the 'other' company?
As far as quality companies are concerned, I rate QRS #1. Why?
Their return policy. It's the most liberal in the industry. As a
dealer for some 20 years, I can boast that QRS will take a roll back
even if the buyer doesn't like the arrangement. That's hard to beat!
Musically,
