Seek Player Piano Purchasing Advice
By Lou Foran

I need some help. I am not a musical person whatsoever, however my
wife is: she plays piano and loves music. I would love to purchase a
used player piano for a moderate sum ($1,000 - $2,000) to give to my
wife as a surprise, but I don't have the slightest clue what I should
buy or avoid.  I am not even sure if a player piano is the right term;
are there different types?

What about those pianos that look like they have a CD player attached
to them? (You can see I know very little on this topic.) Do you know
of anyone reputable that I can deal with? Anyone in Maryland?

Any help would be appreciated
