Hi All,  Several weeks ago, someone wrote in that they had seen or
bought an Avon Musical Carousel that was the 1999 Christmas item
from Avon.  It sounded interesting but it was just after Christmas
and I couldn't find one.  (I was lucky enough to get one of the Mr.
Christmas music boxes, however.)

Anyway, the other day the Avon lady showed up at the door.  So, after I
ordered all the perfume and blush that I needed, I asked her if she had
any carousels.  She looked at me very strangely since she apparently
had never had someone just ask for one.  She had a couple at Christmas
but, of course, that was several weeks ago and they were all gone.

I convinced her to call around and see if she could find me one.
A week later she showed up at the door with three of them.  Since I
remembered that several people missed out on the Mr. Christmas music
boxes, I agreed to buy all three.

So, I hope there are at least two people out there who want one or
my wife is going to be very angry with me (although the Avon lady was
thrilled).  The carousel is about 14 inches tall and about 7 inches in
diameter.  There is a small horse in the middle and a colorful, tent
shaped roof on the top.  There are 9 chime tubes arranged around the
edge of the top part and a striker for each one.  When you push the
button (4 batteries) it plays about 10 Christmas songs on the chimes.
It's not a Deagan, but what do you want for $35 plus shipping.
